Judges 3:1 King James Version (KJV)
3 Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;

These are my thoughts.
God will tests in our lives, this is so we can further grow closer to Him.

Judges 3:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;

These are my thoughts.
We God’s children are going to know war because this world is against us because they are against our Lord.

Judges 3:3
KJV 3 Namely, five lords of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baalhermon unto the entering in of Hamath.

These are my thoughts.
We need to leave this world and follow the Lord.

Judges 3:4
KJV 4 And they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.
ACV 4 And they were [left], to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken to the commandments of LORD, which he commanded their fathers by Moses.

These are my thoughts.
God will leave things in our lives to test us because it is by us tested that we draw closest to Him.

Judges 3:6
KJV 6 And they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and served their gods.

These are my thoughts.
Let us not fall into this rebellion.

Judges 3:7
KJV 7 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.

These are my thoughts.
When we take our focus or forget things of the Lord then we are bound to live in wickedness and turn against Him.

Judges 2:8
KJV 8 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old.
ACV 8 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of LORD, died, being a hundred and ten years old.

These are my thoughts.
Everyone dies what type of life are living before we do is what we got to think about.

Judges 3:8
KJV 8 Therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia: and the children of Israel served Chushanrishathaim eight years.

These are my thoughts.
Because of the unwilling to serve God willing they were forced to serve another, the same happens with us today if we are not serving the Lord then we are serving something or someone else.

Judges 3:9
KJV 9 And when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, who delivered them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.

These are my thoughts.
When we cry out to the Lord He saves us or brings us thru to something better.

Judges 3:10
KJV 10 And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the LORD delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim.

These are my thoughts.
When we the Holy Spirit we have won the war over our sin we just got to fight the battles.

Judges 3:11
KJV 11 And the land had rest forty years. And Othniel the son of Kenaz died.

These are my thoughts.
When we follow God we often have a peace now for us Christians this could be a peace because He is leading us thru battle.

Judges 3:12
KJV 12 And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD.

These are my thoughts.
They turned away from the Lord so the Lord made their enemies ready to overcome them, we as Christians allow this to happen in our lives but we should be getting right with God anytime we are not.

Judges 3:13
KJV 13 And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees.

These are my thoughts.
The world may stand against us Christians.

Judges 3:15
KJV 15 But when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised them up a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a man lefthanded: and by him the children of Israel sent a present unto Eglon the king of Moab.
Bishops 15 But when they cryed vnto the Lord, the Lord stirred them vp a sauer, Ahud the sonne of Gera the sonne of Gemini, a man lame of his right hande: and by him the children of Israel sent a present vnto Eglon the king of Moab

These are my thoughts.
We cry to the Lord and He will move in His timing.

Judges 3:16
KJV 16 But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh.
Bishops 16 But Ahud made him a dagger with two edges, of a cubit length, and he did gird it unto his raiment upon his right thigh

These are my thoughts.
Do we hide weapons or do we boldly proclaim the word wielding our sword of the Spirit.

Judges 3:17
KJV 17 And he brought the present unto Eglon king of Moab: and Eglon was a very fat man.
Bishops 17 And caried the present vnto Eglon the king of Moab: (And Eglon was a very fatte man.

These are my thoughts.
We sometimes give things to people of this world but we no matter what shouldn’t turn from God.

Judges 3:18
KJV 18 And when he had made an end to offer the present, he sent away the people that bare the present.
Bishops 18 And when he had presented the present, he sent the people that bare it away.

These are my thoughts.
Praise God that He blesses us as believers and stays with us.

Judges 3:19
KJV 19 But he himself turned again from the quarries that were by Gilgal, and said, I have a secret errand unto thee, O king: who said, Keep silence. And all that stood by him went out from him.
Bishops 19 But he him selfe turned agayne (from the place of grauen images, that was by Gilgal) and sayde: I haue a secret errande vnto thee, O king. Which sayde: Kepe scilence. And all that stoode before hym, went out from him

These are my thoughts.
Sometimes we just need to remain silent.

Judges 3:20
KJV 20 And Ehud came unto him; and he was sitting in a summer parlor, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God unto thee. And he arose out of his seat.
Bishops 20 And Ahud came vnto him, and in a sommer parler whiche he had, sate he him selfe alone: and Ahud sayd, I haue a message vnto thee from God. And he arose out of his seate

These are my thoughts.
We need to react to the message of God but many stay seated.

Judges 3:21
KJV 21 And Ehud put forth his left hand, and took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly:
Bishops 21 And Ahud put foorth his left hande, & toke the dagger from his right thygh, and thrust it into his belly

These are my thoughts.
So Ehud overthrows the king with the Lord’s help. With only Jesus we can win against sin.

Judges 3:22
KJV 22 And the haft also went in after the blade; and the fat closed upon the blade, so that he could not draw the dagger out of his belly; and the dirt came out.
Bishops 22 And the hafte went in after the blade: and the fatte closed the haft, so that he might not drawe the dagger out of his belly, but the dyrt came out

These are my thoughts.
The way people die maybe different but the question is where do we go once we die? With Jesus alone will we go to heaven.

Judges 3:23
KJV 23 Then Ehud went forth through the porch, and shut the doors of the parlor upon him, and locked them.
Bishops 23 Then Ahud gat him out into the porche, and shut the doores of the parler vpon him, and locked them

These are my thoughts.
What do we do behind shut doors?

Judges 3:24
KJV 24 When he was gone out, his servants came; and when they saw that, behold, the doors of the parlor were locked, they said, Surely he covereth his feet in his summer chamber.
Bishops 24 When he was gone out, his seruauntes came: And when they sawe that the doores of the parler were locked, they sayde, Suerly he couereth his feete in his sommer chamber.

These are my thoughts.
Sometimes we need time alone.

Judges 3:25
KJV 25 And they tarried till they were ashamed: and, behold, he opened not the doors of the parlor; therefore they took a key, and opened them: and, behold, their lord was fallen down dead on the earth.
Bishops 25 And they taried till they were ashamed, and seyng he opened not the doores of the parler, they toke a key and opened them: And beholde, their Lorde was fallen downe dead on the earth

These are my thoughts.
Sometimes we stay in the wrong place until we are shamed instead of leaving thru the door.

Judges 3:26
KJV 26 And Ehud escaped while they tarried, and passed beyond the quarries, and escaped unto Seirath.
Bishops 26 And Ahud escaped whyle they taried and was gone beyonde, to the place of the grauen images, and escaped into Seirath

These are my thoughts.
We need to run from idols and escape to the presence of the Lord.
